Paris – CFI France is pleased to announce that they acted as financial advisor to Terres du Sud in the divestiture of the Assets of Jus de Marmande to Les Jus du Soleil, a new company established for this purpose. Employees have been transferred in the context of the operation. This company will be majority owned by Mireolian and Terres du Sud will have a minority stake.
Mireolian Group, is owned and managed by the Charrier family. It has developed a recognized know-how in intermediate products dedicated to the agrobusiness.
The Group is composed of 4 companies:
Established in 1992, Terres du Sud Group is the 1st cooperative in Lot-et-Garonne. The group generates almost €600m of sales and is owned by c. 6.000 adherents. Terres du Sud operates through 6 activities: vegetal, fruits/vegetables, poultries, palmipedes, ruminants/pork and distribution. The group benefits from a know-how of the whole agricultural value chain.
Jus de Marmande is located in Lot-et-Garonne (47). The company operates in extraction and packaging activities dedicated to fruits and vegetables juices.
Products are organics (AB, Fair for Life) and conventional sold in bulk, and bottled for private labels (including Pouch-Up / Bib products) and for owned brands (under the brands Vallée Verte and O’Nature).
During the 2019/2020 exercice, the Company generated c.€8m of sales representing almost 10m of litres sold.
