Veezu has received refinancing from Santander and Tresmares
Cardiff – CFI is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Veezu on its refinancing with Santander and Tresmares.
Veezu is the UK’s fastest growing private hire technology platform with more than 8,000 active driver-partners. The technology-driven on-demand mobility service operates across 25 local authority licences in the UK and connects more than 8,000 driver-partners with passengers who completed, on average, one ride every two and half seconds in 2021.
Founded in 2013, Veezu has consistently grown through organic and acquisitive growth and will begin its transition from traditional regional brands to a single national brand in late 2022.
Santander and Tresmares Capital have provided additional acquisition funding to Veezu. The new facilities will enable Veezu to continue executing its growth plans and substantial acquisition pipeline.
Veezu CEO Nathan Bowles commented, “These facilities provide us with the headroom and growth funding to capitalise on significant further expansion opportunities. It also gives us the firepower to evolve our technology and improve the end-user experience as the brand of choice for driver-partners, passengers and business accounts. We thank Santander for its longstanding and continued support and look forward to working closely with the Tresmares Capital team. We are very excited for the next stage in our journey.”
