Veezu has acquired Go Carz
Cardiff – CFI United Kingdom is pleased to announce that they acted as lead financial advisor to Veezu on its acquisition of Go Carz. The UK’s biggest private hire vehicle operator, Veezu, has completed its fifth acquisition as its accelerates its expansion plans. Go Carz is the UK’s sixth largest private hire car business.
Veezu is the UK’s largest multi-region taxi and private hire company, delivering more than 13 million private hire journeys per year, equating to an overall transaction value in excess of £120million.
The company is currently operating in 12 locations across the UK via four major service hubs, each operating under established local brands – A2B Radio Cars in the West Midlands, Amber Cars in Leeds, Dragon Taxis in South Wales and V Cars in the South West.
Go Carz provides taxi and private hire transport services, operating throughout Shropshire and the West Midlands, including Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Walsall and with more than 1,200 driver partners, Go Carz completed five million journeys last year.
The acquisition marks Veezu’s third acquisition in 2020, following hot in the footsteps of Cwmbran Cars and Chauffeur Cars in January this year. It will boost the 13 million bookings completed by Veezu in 2019. This latest deal sees Veezu now operating with more than 6,000 driver partners, making it significantly the biggest private hire business in the UK.
